A World In Motion
A
World In Motion supplements the physical science curriculum in grades 4-8, the
most critical years for students in terms of developing an interest in math and
science. This program teaches children about professions that use math and
science through the involvement of Industry Volunteers in the classroom.
Students plan, design, assemble and test a toy product. In addition to
math, this process teaches cognitive thinking, problem-solving, communication
skills and teamwork.
