Health Care Cluster Department of Veterans Affairs Illiana Health Care System VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) provides primary, secondary, intermediate medical and surgical care, acute/extended psychiatric care, rehabilitation medicine, extended long-term care and skilled nursing home care to veterans primarily residing in central Illinois and west central Indiana. There are 422 authorized beds including 193 nursing home beds in the facility.
